Please
pray for my brother - his name is Bill.
He is waiting to hear from the doctors about what they are going to do.
He has a difibulator in his chest and the wire is damaged which when
he lifts his left arm it causes a shock which is equivalent to
getting hit with paddles when your heart stops. When the
defibulator goes off he not only gets shocked but the intensity of
the shock throws him across the room. So in the meantime the
defibulator won't work when needed and works when not needed which is
very dangerous. Sorry to get into such detail but Now you know what
he needs prayer for.
Dear
Lord
I lift Bill
up to You.
I pray for your hand to be on him. Heal his heart and his soul.
I pray for wisdom for the doctors and a quick resonse from the
doctors, I pray that he would know all the prayers going up to you
for him and that he would reach out to you also.
In
Jesus Name,
amen.
Thanks
and God

Hi,
I have a prayer request...
A friend has an 18 year old daughter who had a mole removed 3
weeks ago. They thought they had a clean bill of health but the
doctor called yesterday and informed them that she has a form of
Melanoma. She is scheduled to go on July 30th to have in-house
surgery to remove more of the cells. She is scared and her mom
is too. She asked if I'd please have people pray for her.
So here I am...asking you to please pray for
Meg and her mom
and the whole family.
If
you could also keep her in your prayers especially on July 30th and
possibly ask anyone you
know
who would pray for her to please do so.
Thanks to all of you. I'm sure my friend is very
appreciative and needs prayers to keep her own faith strong.
Cris

Please pray for Curt
Neznamy's 24-year-old
niece, Tara Marie Byrne.
She has cervical cancer and will be going for surgery at the end of
the month. She has children that are one and five. Please
pray for a total recovery/healing for her from the Lord.
Also pray for her family that is trying to be strong for her and
there for her during this scary time for all of them.
Curt
could use your prayers as well. He is extremely upset about this
and going through a difficult time himself right now.
Thank
you,
Debbie

Please pray for George's
sister, Anita Shults.
We have recently learned that she has cancer and that it has spread
to most parts of her body (the only organs not effected are the liver
and kidneys) The doctors don't give her long to live (perhaps
weeks) so she will not be undergoing any treatment at this point.
Please pray for peace for her and her family and most of all
that she may know Jesus
as her Lord
and Savior.
Also keep Jackie (George's
sister) in prayer as she is not taking this well. Thank
you. We will keep you posted.

First
let me tell you all we can feel your prayers. Jim
knows he has cancer and has a pretty positive attitude - He knows he
has a rough road ahead of him but with the love and support of family
and friends and all the prayers he knows he will get through this.
To
those who have send cards and phone calls it means alot and
especially your prayers. Please keep him in prayer tomorrow
(Wed.) he is going for blood platelets and then for an epadoural for
his back. Next week he sees the hemotologist and we will find
out when he starts chemo. If you want to call him please
feel free to do so. (813) 633-0686. Please don't feel
obligated to call I know it's long distance.
Just
keep praying. God's

Keep on praying......Jim starts
his Chemo on Monday at 9 am he will receive chemo for 3-4 days
and then it's blood tests and possibly blood transfusions or blood
plateletts. They will most likely put in a permanent port so
that they don't have to keep sticking him with needles and it will be
easier to transfuse him. They will monitor him for a month and
then the process starts all over again for the next 4 months.
At some point in between he will need to get another epadoural for
his back and hope that it works. He has very active
pre-lukemia which could turn into Acute Myelodic Lukemia. There
is no cure but to try and give him a good quality of life.
So pray that this treament works. He will also be
involved with Moffit Cancer Hospital which is like a Sloan Kettering
Cancer Hospital. This doctor is working hand n hand with the
top notch hemotologist in Moffit. We have a tough journey
ahead of us, so please pray for God's
peace and grace as Jim
goes through this.
Thanks
for all your prayers .

If anyone would like more information or has any ideas, please

THANK
YOU FOR ALL THE PRAYER..
During a second opinion consult, I was able to express some
concerns about the surgery and the Doctor was sensitive enough to
help me decide to put a hold on surgery to see if Rick
Jr. can infact
recover back to breathing on his own and healing from the pneumonia
without any invasive treatment.
This is the part where God confirms
the wisdom and the unfolding circumstances help us determine if any
more intervention must take place.
Thanks
for your prayer support; we walk this through by faith and seek
clear guidance for any more decisions.

To all our prayer warriors:
First
let me say Thanks for all your prayers. It really does help to
know that people out there are praying for us.
This
is to update you all on Jim's
condition. The results of the bone marrow biopsy is that he has
pre-lukemia (it's not as bad as it sounds) yes he will have to be
monitored for his blood, as long as his levels stay up he is ok.
He got the cathether out today, his bladder is fine and so is his
prostrate - no tumors, thank you God.
Wed is more blood work to make sure his levels are ok to go to the
pain management doctor for his back on Thursday. So don't stop
praying yet we are not out of the woods. Will update you again
after Thursday. Please post this on the web-site for me.
Thanks again for all your prayers . Love Annie

Please
pray for my mom, Josephine O'Rourke. She
was just diagnosed with colon cancer that has spread to her liver
and her spine. She is in a weakened state from a recent heart attack
so there is not much they can do. We brought her home yesterday with
hospice. I just pray that we can control the pain and keep her as
comfortable as possible. She was able to share her faith with me the
other day which was an answer to prayer. Trusting God
through all of this. Thanks so much.

GREETINGS:
Requests
prayer support today for a decision regarding Rick
Jr's Medical condition.
Surgeons are recommending a feeding tube to be installed as a
permanent solution to chronic aspiration Pneumonia. We have resisted
this move for several years but the frequency of events seems to
point toward saying ok to this.
The
decision is full of challenges and I ask the community to pray for
Wisdom for Jan and I as we wrestle with it. I need to respond by the
end of today.
Prayerfully,

Update
on Jim Wilkom
We
went to the urologist yesterday to have a test done on his
bladder. The tech said that he could have had the test in the
hospital. The Doctor told me it had to be done in the
office. We didn't see the doc yesterday just the test.
Today we have an appointment with family doc. Tomorrow is the
pulmonary doc for his breathing (it is getting worse) and Friday the
hemotologist to see the results of the bone marrow biopsy. His
back is worse now than it was before he went into the hospital.
He is on Percoset and Oxycontone and still has the pain - it just
takes the edge off, so it's bareable. Thanks for the e-mail and
the prayers. Will let you know as soon as I hear something.
Love
you Annie

I want to put my husband Kenny
Karabec on the
prayer request list. He has been diagnosed with Hepatitis C 1B,
a hard strain to treat. We don't know yet the extent of the
disease. He has to get a Liver biopsy done, we need prayers for
guidance in our decisions, biopsy's can be dangerous and can cause
cancer cells to spread, although we are hoping and praying there are
NO Cancer cells, the biopsy is being done to rule that out. So
you can see these decisions are extremely vital. I know God
is carrying him and has the plan already laid out, I am afraid and
need prayers for us both to have the courage and trust in the
Lord's plan and
the peace as he goes through this time of uncertainty. Tres
Dias has been Kenny's link to the Lord
and I know all of your thoughts and prayers will lift his spirit and
heart. Thank You

I can't thank every one enough for your love and support as I
wait for God
to finish His
work in my son, Michael.
You make such a difference in my life. You could all give an
action rollo (if you haven't already) about being the hands and feet
of Christ!
Every e-mail or phone call I receive ... every friend that prays
with me and for me and my family ... it's like healing balm to my
heart and soul. In the middle of a difficult circumstance, you
make me feel truly blessed. Saying thank you doesn't seem like
enough ... but thank you. I thank God
for you with all my heart.
Mike
has been told by Steven
and I separately that we are willing to talk to him about living
home. Of course there will be consequences and accountability
required and he knows that. Which is why he has chosen not to
talk to us. He was also told by my pastor that he can come to
his door any time, but Mike
has not done that either. He also has Tony
DeMicco's phone
number in his cell phone. He knows Tony loves him and would be
there for him but he's not asking Tony for help either. He
knows many healthy, Christian people from Church, Tres Dias and AA
but he chooses to flop at "friend's" houses and not even
let his family know where he is. This and other things make it
clear to us that Mike
has gotten way
off track again (or still?) and does not want to get better right
now. He is lying to everyone, maybe even himself. He
claims he is going to get a job, live with a friend, finish high
school and go to college. He can barely do these things with
the constant support and supervision of many adults. His father
and I both told him we will not help him with anything if he chooses
to live the way he is now. I will be looking into some
treatment programs to have on hand if he decides he wants help.
It's all up to Mike
and God now.
This morning the Lord
brought this song to me. How great is the God
we serve?
Peace
Be Still
Words
and music by Wes Willis & Kevin Huguley & Jason Ingram
Come
to Me, you who are weak
Let
My strength be yours tonight
Come
and rest, let My love be your bed
Let
My heart be yours tonight
Peace
be still, Peace be still
Please
be still and know that I am God
...and
know that I am God
Come
empty cup, let Me fill you up
I'll
descend on you like a dove tonight
Lift
your head, let your eyes fall into Mine
Let
your fear subside tonight
Peace
be still, Peace be still
Please
be still and know that I am God

know that I am God

Hi
friends,
This is an update on Jim's

the biopsy is negative. He is on pain medication for his back
and legs. He still has the cathether in and will probably come
home with it in. He will see the urologist in his office on
Tuesday the 15 for some more tests. Please keep him in
your prayers. I'm not happy about the pain medications.
He might be released on Sun or Monday. I checked
the Tresl Dias website and his prayer request was removed. I
don't understand for something of health issues they remove it and
leave something on for prayer for a job or some other thing. I
guess you can tell I'm very angry.
I'm trying to focus on God and
not being to successful. I know in my heart he is in control
and not some silly website or anythingelse, but my head tells me
other things. While your at pray for me too.

Please
make the community aware of Ashley's improvement.
Ashley's
improvement continues. They have been able to take her off of the
I-Vs she had that made sure she was getting plenty of fluids. So now
she will have to drink more. They decreased the medicine she was
getting to maintain her blood pressure. They are hoping to get her
off the bp medicine tomorrow. The headaches are not occuring as
frequently. Her mental alertness continues to improve. Her appetite
is getting better. Swelling around the left side is almost completely
gone. She is still in NICU right now. The doctors are well pleased
with her progress. Continue to pray for increasing mental alertness,
that her body will continue to maintain the bp that she needs as they
continue to decrease the medicine, she will regain physical stamina
as she is able to get up and sit longer, and anything else that the Spirit
leads you to pray for.
We continue to be overwhelmed by the prayers, support, love,

God
is good! She continues to improve. The past two days
they have gotten her up to sit in a chair. Today she was able
to sit for 45 min. The swelling around the left eye is almost
completely gone. She is eating much better and able to talk
much better. Her lung capacity is improving daily and her lungs
are clear. Continue to pray for decrease in swelling and mental
alertness. The doctors say that with a cerebral bleed it can
take the body a while to absorb the blood back into the system.
This may cause her to tire faster and possible headaches. We
are also praying for quick re-absorbtion of the blood. With the type
of aneurysm she had and the location the doctors are amazed at how
well she is doing. There are several things that she has not
shown and won't that others patients have had to deal with. Of course
we expected this kind of recovery. Her sister, Allison, getting
in has lifted her spirits also. She can have visitors as long
as it is not SRO. She is in Vanderbilt 5222. We can't
thank everyone enough for the support you have shown. God
is being glorified every day through this trial.

they checked Chayton's vital signs and then drew blood. We met some
of the staff and had some questions to answer and then we were
released to go home. We got home at 4:30 and 5 minutes later they
called and said Chayton needs a platelet and blood transfusion so
back out we went. His counts we so good that they said we should be
able to harvest tomorrow. When we got there they said his red blood
was fine so he only had to have platelets so we were gone by 6:30. We
headed to Target for some groceries and then we went home to through
a pizza and salad together for dinner at 8:30. Needless to say it was
a long day since we started at 4:50 that morning.
Today
we had vital signs and labs drawn at 8:00 this morning and then we
had a meeting with the nurse coordinator and a nurse practioner and
then we were let go at 11:00 and then back at 12:45 for the harvest.
Chayton did wonderful with the harvest part but he had a severe
meltdown after getting Tylenol and Benadryl so he slept most of the 4
hour procedure. When he woke up almost half way through he kicked
Michael and I out of the room and told us to go away. It is his way
of showing he has control and telling us he is tired of all this
hospital stuff. He went back to sleep and then when he woke up right
before it was almost done he kicked us out again and told us we were
bad people. That about took my heart out and I lost it in the hallway
and said this is so unfair that your child thinks we are doing bad
things to him when we are doing everything in our power to save his
life. He just does not understand all of this and it is his way of
coping with it. The tech that was with us told us he has had so much
done to him in 2 days that once he gets more on a schedule he should
be fine. Once he got unplugged and unhooked from everything and had
about 5 minutes to calm down he was back to his self.
When
we were leaving the clinic Chayton said I want to go eat somewhere.
We asked him what he wanted and he said anywhere you will take me. We
told him he had to tell us what he wanted to eat and then we could
take him to eat. He wanted Mexican so can you believe it they have a
Chipotle Grill across the street from the hospital so that is where
we went.
We
are now at home chilling and Michael and Chayton are putting a
Spongebob Lego set together. We just got a call from Dr. Driscoll and
they did not get enough cells today so we have to do this again on
Thursday so hopefully with maybe only a platelet transfusion we can
have a short day at the clinic.
Please
continue to pray for Chayton to give him peace and comfort and with
less anxiety. It breaks our hearts to see him so upset. He told us it
did not hurt and then we said it just made you mad and then he said
no I was just sad. We tried to get out of him why he was sad but he
just changed the subject. So you just wonder what is going through
his precious mind.
With
very saddened and broken hearts are sweet and dear friends the
Langford's delivered some very tragic news. Their daughter Sophia has
relapsed with the same tumor Chayton has. We are so devastated and
can not believe they are back in this cruel world of cancer again
with us. Please keep this special family in your prayers and give
them peace and comfort as they begin to make very important decisions.
Thanks
for all the wonderful messages and all the encouraging words.
We
love you, Trisha
WEDNESDAY,
MARCH 26, 2008
GOOD
MORNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We
had a very good nights sleep. Chayton slept about 11 hours and mommy
and daddy slept about 8 1/2 to 9 hours which was much needed. We do
not look like death warmed over right now.
Today
should be a calm day. Melody called about 8:30 and said they want to
check Chayton's counts and he will need a platelet transfusion but we
hope to do it later today so we can hang out at the apartment this
morning and early afternoon. We need to go to the grocery store to
pick up some more groceries but it will probably be just me so
Michael can work and Chayton can play with this toys.
I
am so sorry I have not given you this information earlier but here
is our address.

Kelly Martin
would like to send her appreciation to the community for all their
prayers and support. She says she feels God's
presence through the prayers of the faithful. She is doing well
and asks for us to keep holding her up to the Lord
as she recovers.

I got a call from Mildred
Anderson today.
She asked if we would lift Lloyd
up in prayer. He's in very serious condition in Peconic Hospital in
Riverhead. He is scheduled for life saving surgery on Thursday.
Please pray that God
would heal him, spare him, and give both him and Mildred strength.
Our community exists today because Lloyd
and Mildred Anderson
went on a Tres Dias in New Jersey, and God
placed it in their hearts to start a community on Long Island. They
were not alone, but very instrumental in bringing Tres Dias to Long
Island. To God
be all the glory, let's thank God
for his faithful servants and pray for their health today.
Thanks

Asking for prayer for my 85 year old mother, she fell today and
broke her hip. She has to have surgery. This is her second set back.
She had to stop driving in January of this year which devastated her.
Immobility will really set her back. She walks and exercises every
day and now she will be bedridden at the best. Thanks for all your prayers.

May
Tres Dias always be the opportunity to have spring cleaning of the
heart, soul and mind to usher in the assurance that we are already
living eternally NOW! At some point we merely graduate and
there is a celebration here and in Heaven.
This
week we will celebrate the ultimate celebration with great anticipation,

Oh precious Lord,
please hear my cry. I am desperate, and I am weak. I need you, and my
family needs you. In your word it says to pray continually. So that
is what I am doing. Please bless Michael
and restore his body as the doctors take care of him. He is on an
artificial heart, but its only temporary and there will need to be
decisoins made on what to do next. Please restore his strength, allow
his vitals to be stable, allow his body to accept whatever the
doctors plan on doing, and may he react positively to treatment. may
his body be able to handle any necessary procedures and surgeries and
may he find a sense of comfort and peace. I pray that he can have a
will to live, and even if he cannot physically speak due to the
breathing tube, that he will be able to communicate, and know that we
are present and I pray that he knows that there is hope even when
things are scary and messy. Please Jesus.
Let him live, he needs to live. I know that he has more life in him,
Let him live.

It's been a while since I've sent out updates. Chayton
is doing well. It appears as though the tumor has vanished (praise God)
and he will undergo stem cell transplant on Easter Sunday. It was
switched from this weekend due to an outbreak of influenza in the
Durham, NC community - Chayton's
immune system will already be weak. They don't want to chance anything.
Continue
to pray for this family. God
is blessing
them every step of the way and will continue to do so.
Also,
a friend of theirs is doing a fundraiser in honor of Chayton.

To embrace the ascension is to heave a sigh of relief, to give up
the struggle to be God
(and with it the inevitable despair at our constant failure), and to
enjoy our status as creatures: image-bearing creatures, but creatures nonetheless.

As for me, if you can remember to pray for my job situation,
Id appreciate it. Good
News
Jail & Prison Ministry is facing a severe financial crisis and
they had to
eliminate
over a dozen staff positions. Mine was one of them.
Please pray for funding for Good News Jail & Prison Ministry
thanks
